9 months ago my daughter Lauren took her unbroke 5 year old mare to Chad Obenour. Chad is one of the best trainers I’ve come across. So gentle and easy with the horses. He took her from never being riden to being a nice, quiet, respectful horse with no bad vices. When I came to pick my mare up, I dropped my gelding off for a tune up.

The Center is a gorgeous facility that offers an indoor arena, outdoor arena, private lessons, boarding and education. We have two horses boarded with them and life couldn't be better! My two young children and I started as complete beginners and in four short months fell in love with the sport, have learned more than we could ever imagine, and can ride independently. Heidi and Chad are fantastic! Chad gives our daughter riding lessons and has taught her so much while always being patient. Gracie loves spending time at the barn. He has also been working with our pony Sally on some better riding/ground manners (which has drastically improved). While they always do a great job they are also willing to help in a pinch. Our pasture flooded and we needed a hand and they didn't bat an eye to help us out. They are just great people all around and I would trust them with any horse of mine or any child that needs taught. We love Obenour Equine Center!

My sister and I have known chad for over 20 years.  We boarded our two horses with Chad and Heidi for 15 years.  They are among the few people we actually trust our horses with. They truly cared for our two horses like they were their own.  Both Chad and Heidi are very knowledgeable and available when we had questions.  They were very observant and would call us immediately if they noticed something with our horses.  We have a senior horse and there were multiple times he would check on her all night or be out in the barn all night helping us with her. If we would not have moved to a new town our horses would still be boarding with Chad and Heidi.
